Words for dreamers. Actions for heros.
IN POSSIBILITY
"I dwell in Possibility—a Fairer House than Prose" wrote Emily Dickinson. Amidst a barrage of news feeds that immobilize with fear and uncertainty, where do we turn for hope, connection, and practical action? Allow this site to be a source for you to dip into the pleasure and the practice of dwelling in possibility.
WHO YOU ARE
You’re the ones who believe this world is worth fighting for—but feel lost in the scrolling feed of news that never stops, the news that doesn’t speak to the truth of your existence. You’re curious, you’re hungry, you’re creative, you're fierce. You’re the mothers and fathers who aren’t sure anymore which way to turn to show your children safety and kindness in the world. You’re the sisters and the brothers who are looking for a moment of respite—maybe even companionship in a world that grows more distant even as the tools to connect expand. You know there’s a path you tread daily between your actions and your dreams, that you have a choice, and that the path is not always an easy one. But you keep at it anyway. You’re my inspiration.
WHO I AM
I’m interested in finding ways to speak of living in this world that draw the light out of me. I’m challenging myself to share my own story because I think I may not be alone—and maybe my words will move another to action. I believe that paying attention to the small things can show us the best in ourselves and the world. I’m a perpetual optimist. At the same time, I believe in the power and the strength of our pain and grief and anger. I'm always looking for that infinite flow between and through all the emotions that course through my being.
